Where are you located?

Paradise Del Mar is located on nine acres of waterfront at 2900 Paradise Drive in Marin County, California. Specifically, we are 1.1 miles from downtown Tiburon which is less than 5 minutes by car, 10 minute on bike, or 20 minute by foot along the waterfront.

By car Paradise Del Mar is about 40 minutes north of downtown San Francisco, 55 minutes north of San Francisco International Airport, and 75 minutes north of Stanford University. We are located about an hour south of the vineyards of Sonoma and Napa, with the cities of Petaluma and San Rafael in between. From Paradise Del Mar you can see Berkeley across the Bay, which is about an hour drive.

What is there to do in Tiburon?

Tiburon’s downtown is filled with some of our favorite restaurants such as Malibu Farm, Luna Blu, Caprice, Bungalow Kitchen, Left Bank and Sam’s Anchor Cafe. With good food and a little shopping at unique boutiques, there is something for everyone in downtown Tiburon which is only five minutes by car from Paradise Del Mar.

Is Paradise Del Mar right for me?

Because we created the Paradise Del Mar experience for families and groups seeking to reconnect in a discrete location, we usually host only one group or event at a time. Paradise Del Mar is ideal for families and teams sharing experiences in a setting infused by the power of Mother Nature, with Mt. Tiburon behind us and San Francisco Bay at our feet with sand between our toes.

Paradise Del Mar is NOT right for your group if you don’t like bugs (yes, our honey is made by insects), farm dogs (we have three McNabs on duty 24/7), or morning fog (an asset against wildfires). Unfortunately, some of our structures such as the Garden Cottage and the Promenade are not wheelchair accessible or suitable for guests with mobility considerations. While accessible to most guests, our orchards, gardens, chicken coops, beehives, yoga studio, and meditation vistas are located on the hillside with many steps.

What is JAR Farms?

JAR Farms is an educational farm located on the northern end of Paradise Del Mar. The farm is committed to practicing Community, Education, and Sustainability to set an example for the youth of Marin County. Please visit its rose garden, orchard, beehives, vegetable garden and chicken coop to marinate in the power of Mother Nature.

What if I have a health issue while visiting Tiburon?

The closest hospital is Marin General Hospital which is about 20 minutes north of Tiburon by car in Greenbrae. UCSF Medical Center is about 35 minutes south of Tiburon by car in San Francisco. The closest Urgent Care clinic is about 15 minutes west of Tiburon in Mill Valley. CVS in downtown Tiburon is the closest pharmacy, but if you need a 24-hour pharmacy, the CVS in Greenbrae is your best bet.

In the past, 2900 Paradise was a popular location to host charity galas. Can our group utilize your facilities?

At Paradise Del Mar, we believe we are the current stewards of an iconic property that existed long before us and will continue to exist long after us.
