Downtown Tiburon

  • Food & Beverage

Living within a few minutes from downtown Tiburon, we feel lucky to have so many amazing restaurant options. Our favorite fine dining options are Caprice (the crab caesar salad!), Bungalow Kitchen, Luna Blu, and Malibu Farm. When we need a more casual setting, Sam’s Anchor Cafe, Salt & Pepper, and Servino’s (best gluten-free pizza!) do not disappoint. Crave a good burger? Petite Left Bank and Tiburon Tavern are fantastic choices. Need a quick pizza and beer? Waypoint is a Main Street staple.

For small bites, Squalo Vino and The Caviar Co are decadent choices. To satisfy your sweet tooth, Jenny will set you up at The Candy Store a Main Street landmark. For fresh baked pastries and coffee, it would be hard to choose between the coffee shop at Malibu Farm, Rustic Bakery, and Caffe Acri. No respectable downtown would be complete without good Chinese takeout like at Ming’s and an authentic taqueria like Lola’s!

Woodland’s Market is our local grocery store, although it doesn’t feel right to call Woodlands a grocery store. It’s so much more with its gourmet prepared food options (the burritos!) and the coffee/pastry bar.

  • Shopping & Services

    Spa & Salon Services:

Located just a few minutes from JAR Farms, Tiburon Spa & Yoga and Kinetic Waves Day Spa offer both traditional and non-traditional (Reiki, cranial, hypnotherapy) massages, facials, and other therapies. For a good haircut, book early at Christopher Salon, Cindy’s Hair Studio, or Purple Monkey Hair. For sparkling nails, visit Tiburon Nails or Nail Connections.

    Shopping & Gifts:

Tiburon’s Main Street, historic Ark Row, and Boardwalk Shopping Center are home to a plethora of unique retail destinations. Visit Main Street Mercantile, Perfect Provenance, Ella Lafay, and Yema for the perfect outfit or unique gifts. For the gourmand, no trip to Marin would be complete without a visit to Local Spicery, Tiburon Wine, and The Caviar Co. Whether you are looking for one-of-a-kind jewelry, home decor, or even unique hair accessories, you won’t regret a bout of retail therapy in downtown Tiburon.

    Other Services:

For valet services, please inquire at Vogue Cleaners or Twins Alterations.

  • Activities:

While there is no shortage of breathtaking hiking and biking trails in Marin County, some of the closest to the farm are, Paradise Loop (JAR Farms is on the southeast corner of the loop), Angel Island, and Tiburon waterfront. For bike rentals, please inquire at Demo Sport downtown. The ferry schedule to/from Angel Island (also Sausalito and San Francisco) can be found here.

For guests exploring Tiburon for a potential relocation, please don't forget to tour Tiburon Peninsula Club, Belvedere Tennis Club, Corinthian Yacht Club, San Francisco Yacht Club, and Tiburon Yacht Club. For guests planning an extended stay during the summer, some of our favorite kids’ camps are Angel Island camp and a number of sailing camps offered through one of our three yacht clubs.

On days when a little break from the California sun may be in order, you may want to visit the Tiburon Museum, Tiburon CineLounge or the Tiburon Library, a community center which hosts unique events throughout the year.
